OTAY MESA

Montgomery High school is on the west end of Otay Mesa. It overlooks the Otay River to the north. Practically every plant endemic to Otay Mesa is in peril of extinction due to the rapid development planned for the mesa. We have a mound of clay on which we are attempting to grow plants native to our area, which no longer grow wild around our school.
