with the help of the Urban Corps of San Diego. The Urban Corps is a
non-profit agency dedicated to the training of young people in job
skills. The Urban Corps operates through grants, donations and money
earned from contracts for recycling and conservation work. They train
young men and women. Corps men and women spend part of their time in
the classroom earning their GED s or taking college classes. The rest
of their day is spent learning job skills.
Thanks to the Urban Corps we have recycled 116 tons of paper as of July 1, 1999.
