Torrey Pines are very special plants. They grow in the wild only along the coast of Del Mar in California and on the Northern part of Santa Rosa Island. We started with one large tree from Pacifice tree Farms and two smaller ones from Andersen's Nursery. Robert Minor then gave us five trees. When the trees did well on our hillside he gave us twenty one more. We now have a grove of Torrey Pines.

We have removed the iceplant only where necessary. Eventually it will all be replaced with mulch.
